MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:
Study to show yourself approved.
I’ve been thinking about this a lot. Especially because of my “go back to school and study” dream. And last night, I asked Johnnie (who has an exam today) “did you STUDY? Like really study? Don’t just show up and wing it?”
How many of us are just winging it. Say we BELIEVE...but aren’t really studying to UNDERGIRD and KNOW Truth.
We are entering the days that we are going to have to KNOW IT. Like know it, know it. No messin’ around and winging it. The word is going to have to be written on our hearts. KNOWN. We are going to need to be able to discern and separate truth from fiction.
The rest of that scripture in 2 Timothy 2 goes something like this:
Study. KNOW the word of Truth. Avoid idle babbling (godless chatter) for they will INCREASE and their message will spread like cancer.
