MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: One last FOLLOW post, maybe...well, probably not.
Why the disciples? Why then? It says that GREAT MULTITUDES followed him. But he CHOSE 12 to walk closely with Him then. An unlikely, rag-tag bunch. Did he KNOW they’d forsake all, leave all, and FOLLOW?
Duh. Of course He did. Did He KNOW I would drop my nets IMMEDIATELY and leave ALL when He spoke to me? Duh. Of course He did. I guess He just knows when we are ready. He knows the condition and cry of our hearts. He knows our capacity. He knows exactly when to BREAK IN to our natural world with his supernatural touch. He knows the language YOU need to hear him. Don’t worry about trying to “work something up” or “figure it out” or think you have to fast and pray and get all hyper-spiritual. Nope. Just begin. Where you are. Choose. Dive in. Read His word. Journal. Talk to Him. Tell Him your fears...ask Him your questions. He’s listening, I promise. He can find you amongst the multitudes. #morningthoughtswithE
