24 Days w/Luke: Day 11

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️

Lots of goodness in Luke 11 but this one jumped out at me…maybe it’s because tonight I’m wrapping up week 10 of my “school of heart healing”.

The eyes of your spirit allow revelation-light into your being. When your heart is OPEN the light floods in. But when your heart is hard and CLOSED; the light cannot penetrate and darkness takes place. Open your heart and consider my words. - Luke 11: 34-35

Open hearts allow for healing, revelation, light, life, freedom. Closed hearts allow for none of that. They are like that rocky place where no seed can grow. And yet, we walk around wounded, offended, bitter, hurt, angry, closed off…holding on to past stuff that settles and hardens.

God. Wants. Our. Hearts. Healed.

He wants to flood our entire bodies with his life and his light. More light (truth) means more healing. More softening. More tenderizing. More realizing. More releasing. More trusting. More living from a free place as he intended.

His light. His word. His truth. It’s a healing balm.
