A Colony.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:

Philippians 3:20: “We are a COLONY of heaven on earth.” - TPT

Colony: a group of people who leave their native country to form a new land. Any people separated from but subject to a ruling power.

I could leave that right there and not say another thing. That’s some good stuff.

Think about it.

We are actually called to live as foreigners.

In it (the world) but not if it.

Knowing and remembering and operating from a different citizenship.

Notice Paul didn’t say…”we’re a colony of people ON earth waiting to get TO heaven.”

Nope. We bring heaven to earth. We live FROM there even though here. We see things differently. Hear things differently. Walk differently. Talk differently.

And it’s good. Not only good, but GREAT.

Stop looking to this world and letting it shape you.
