A new reality.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️

In the book of Matthew, one of the sections is entitled:

“Jesus Brings a NEW Reality.” (Matthew 9)

I mean. That’s so darn good.

In the margin, I wrote:

Stop trying to pour Jesus into your old lif e and let him bring the new.

I think most still try to live in the OLD reality with a little Jesus sprinkled in here and there. We keep living our old life and say the blessing at dinner and maybe do church on Sunday. We still strive and work to FIX the old instead of understanding that it’s not about fixing anything. It’s about STEPPING into the NEW reality that’s there for you and for me.

It’s a choice. Invite him into ours or wake up to the truth that we’ve been invited into His.
