Be patient.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: I was thinking and journaling about Abraham, Sarah, Hagar, Isaac and Ishmael all day yesterday.

Sarah had a promise from the Lord…but she wasn’t patient. Well, she probably had been but then she was like “dang..enough is enough…let’s get on with it already.”

Ummm. I’ve been there recently.

Anyway. She couldn’t wait. So she took things into her own hands to make them happen sooner. From this act, Ishmael was born.

So much could be said about all of that, but I simply felt to warn myself and others to not grow weary or impatient right now. Keep waiting. Let GOD unfold and birth the promise, not you. His timing. His way.

I get it, Sarah..waiting ain’t no fun.
