Booth Jesus.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: I had brunch with a beautiful friend yesterday that I don’t get to see often…but it’s always like we were just together. You know those friends.

We sat in a booth and laughed and cried and maybe cussed a little:) Mostly, we talked about Jesus and how, with all we’ve been going through…the ONLY solution and person we point to for hope is HIM.

At one point, an extremely tall, burly, older Harley Davison dude with chains on his jeans, a leather vest and biker gloves walked over to us.

“Ladies…I’m sorry to interrupt…I just wanted to come over and tell you how beautiful you are.”

He did it in such a humble and lovely way…not creepy at all. It was so sweet.

We carried on. I think we could have stayed through lunch.

As we were preparing to go, yet another old man walked to the table and said:

“Ladies, I need to see your bill…there’s something wrong with it.”

We handed it to him. He stuck it in his pocket and wouldn’t let us pay for it.

Precious.

Two strangers. Out of nowhere.

Funny. We talked the whole time about how Jesus is the One we rely on, love, trust, follow, have our hope in…and we were simultaneously reminded of our beauty and that every little detail of our lives are seen and taken care of…down to a brunch in a booth on a Monday morning.

He’s good like that. And when we walk WITH HIM to the capacity that we are aware of it 24/7, HE shines out of US.

Today…simply KNOW how beautiful He thinks you are and that EVERY detail of your life is known, seen, and taken care of.

Talk about Him…a lot.

He’s got us. I promise.
