MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: “Some trust in chariots and some trust in horses, but WE trust in the name of the Lord.” Psalm 20:7
Chariots are a vehicle. Do we put trust our trust in our vehicle? The thing that is providing provision FOR us?
Horses? Strength + speed. Do we put our trust in our own natural strength and ability?
I’ve done BOTH. When we put our trust in self or systems…when they shake, WE shake.
When our natural strength dries up (burn out), and it will, we still keep going because we MUST when we trust in ourselves.
ONLY when trust is TRULY rooted and grounded in KNOWING Him and His nature and only when we can fully believe He is our provider and protector, can we stand firm and NOT be shaken when the rest of the world is shaking or our vehicle changes or our natural strength wanes.
We must place our trust properly.

In the Complete Jewish Bible, the word “faith” is transliterated as “trust.” So everywhere we read in KJV or ESV or NASB where it says, “Faith comes by hearing…” or “there is faith hope and love…” or “Abraham’s faith was credited to him as righteousness,” what the Jewish scholars who know Hebrew backwards and forwards translated the words into is TRUST. How interesting! How appropriate! How much my own paradigm changed and my mind and heart shifted - positively - toward the Lord. So my faith went from me trying to overcome doubt and fear and be brave and believe God’s promises to me RESTING in the understanding that He will do it. I’m not perfect and life circumstances make faith/trust a challenge for me every single day. I never get a day off from the battle. But I hold on and God blesses me. My blessings might be humble, but they’re mine and they make me love the Lord deeper and my gratitude expand. So I’m ok with it. Thanks for all the good words. They bless me!
