Divided.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️

Morning sunshine’s! Happy Friday! I woke up with this scripture on my mind:

“Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will NOT stand.” Matt 12:25

We are clearly divided as a nation. Y’all know where this is headed.

I remember yearsssss ago, Keith and I were having a hard time in our marriage. We lived in a divided house. I got up in the middle of the night and was mully grubbing to the Lord about all of it. Instantly, he told me that if the enemy could DIVIDE me and Keith then the enemy could get to Katherine.

That shook me to the core and woke me up to the fact that this was NOT about me or Keith…that this was about Katherine and generations to follow.

It strengthened us and our resolve. One sentence from the Lord put it all into perspective for me and the fight was ON.

It’s easy to become divided. Anyone can operate from that place. But unified? Now that’s a different story. Being unified takes dying to SELF and looking at the whole instead of the parts. It takes putting our own agenda aside, our own “rights”, and our own desires.

It takes siding with God and what HE says.

That’s the only solution to a divided house.
