MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:
“Do the IMPOSSIBLE so the next generation knows what’s possible.”
Words I heard out of nowhere on a midday walk way back in 2009. They’ve stuck with me.
This is the call of the PIONEER...to do the impossible so others know what’s possible. To make a way where there is no way. To step out in such RADICAL FAITH that it incites and stirs up radical faith in others.
Abraham was a pioneer. “Faith motivated Abraham to OBEY God’s call and LEAVE THE FAMILIAR to discover the territory he was destined to inherit from God.” Heb 11:8
John the Baptist was a pioneer...”the voice of one crying out in the wilderness...”
Jesus was THE ultimate pioneer: “fixing our attention on Jesus...the pioneer and perfecter of the faith...who, in view of the JOY set before him..endured the cross.”
Jesus created a “path already marked out before us” (Heb 12:2) to walk on and discover this land called the KINGDOM.
“You must do the impossible so the next generation knows what’s possible.”
We will never do that in the comfort of our homes, in the confines of society, in the realm of mediocrity and normal.
We will have to obey, cry out, and endure...but it will bring JOY to our hearts to know we’ve carved out a path for others to walk on. That’s a promise.
