Don’t Give Up.

Morning Sunshine’s! Happy Friday! Happy Veteran’s Day! And as for here, happy stay inside and read books because it’s pouring down rain all day!

I had come so close to writing you to say that I needed to stop writing. Well, that’s not worded correctly. Not “needed to stop” as much as maybe felt / been feeling that I don’t have much to say (which is a lie, by the way). You know that I NEVER want to write to simply be writing…I only want to write what’s life giving and what flows freely.

It hasn’t been flowing freely:)

I mentioned this to Keith and Johnie last night at dinner and they were both like “huh? Umm, no. Mom…that’s your THING. You CAN’T stop.”

And so. Good morning. Here I am. Writing to you. Saying that wow, sometimes LIFE gets so full and so much and you can become so occupied with all that’s been going on that you feel super poured out and possibly dry. And, I’m realizing as I’m writing this, that that is exactly the time the enemy wants to show up for all of us to say “yeah, you’re done.”

And maybe sometimes we are but many times, possibly we aren’t.

We have to know who’s saying STOP and who’s saying GO.

And then, if it’s a go, we get to come back to that well for water. We don’t have to DO anything..work anything up in our own strength…or beg. Nope. We simply come and then HE provides the water and refreshes us in supernatural ways we cannot even understand.

So. That’s all I have to say this morning. Don’t give up with something God’s asked you to do. But also, don’t think you have to be great at it all the time:). All you have to be is REAL.
