MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Listen to this. I read the Song of Songs again this past weekend. How lovely is it!?! Anyway. Did you know the Hebrew word for KISS is nashaq which can also mean “to equip” or “to arm for battle”. Amazing.
So. The key to being equipped and armed is NOT reading a book, listening to a pastor preach, or just “being” a Christian.
Nope.
The key to being equipped and armed is INTIMACY with the Lord.
“Let him smother me with KISSES…his Spirit-Kiss divine.” 1:2
Fall in love. That’s the key.

I sat here this morning thinking I want the world to know the love we have between us in our community. As we share together the things we go through in a safe place around a meal with acceptance of each other as we are. It is only because we each have desired and worked on our own private intimacy with the Lord, that we can then come together and love each other. I am sure not perfect, but striving to be so.
