Morning Sunshines! It’s been a week since I’ve written a Morning Thought for you but I wanted you to know that I’m still here!

I don’t know what it is….summer about to hit? Senioritis? Different season?

I feel like Forest Gump in the scene where he’s been running for three years and then all of a sudden stops and says : “I think I’m done runnin.”

I’m NOT done writing. Not even close. But I do feel like there’s a pause and perhaps, a new direction coming that I need to be still in order to discern.

At the beginning of the year, the Lord told me “all things new” and yet, the tendency to hang on to “all things I’ve always done” is strong.

How can I be sensitive to the spirit to feel the shift, hear the new, discern the next step IF I’m occupied doing what I’ve always done?

Anyway. I love you. I’m here. I hope you’ll stay here. I’ll keep you in the loop. And….if you haven’t already and want to, you can download the substack app on your phone. I’m going to start going through my over 4,000 saved Morning Thoughts and uploading them here!

P.S. now that I’ve written this, I’ll probably wake up in the morning with some fabulous thought I want to share 😂 … that’s usually how it goes:)

P.S.S. I’d love to know if YOU have been feeling a pause on things you’ve been doing or if you’re sensing the need to be available for what’s coming? Talk to me.

More listening & less opening of my mouth. (Which is a HUGE struggle!)

YES! A need to pause, reflect, regroup & start again, but in a different way/capacity. No rush on any of those steps as well.
