Gates

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:

(Here’s a short thought for November 1st since yesterday’s was so long:)

“We enter His gates with thanksgiving and praise.” Psalm 100:4

In the Passion Translation, it says that our PASSWORD to enter HIS gates is praise.

This gives me such a visual of standing in line…two gates before me. One gate, the password is praise. One gate, the password is complaining. The password I use determines the gate I enter, or, more specifically, whose gate I enter. And then, once I enter that gate…more of the same will ensue. Praise or no praise. Once in, what’s there feeds the password that got me there to begin with more.

Let’s choose our password well.
