Heart + Brain.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Years ago, the Lord said to me:

“Work with a MINISTRY HEART and a BUSINESS BRAIN.”

A ministry HEART means we love and serve and give….wherever we are. That if we take care of HIS business, He will take care of ours. That we can’t out give Him. That we’ve been FREELY given to and so, we can turn around and freely give. That we don’t give with strings or do things for selfish gain. That we prefer others. That we lead with love. That we don’t engage in selfish ambition.

A business BRAIN means THAT He gave US a brain to use:) ... that if we’re building a business, a ministry (I mean...isn’t it ALL ministry), a non-profit, whatever...that there is STEWARDSHIP involved. There is wisdom. Knowledge. Understanding. There is making sure you don’t spend more then you make or are bringing in...that there are checks and balances...that you’re operating with and stewarding well what you’ve been given. That you’re not squandering away your time, your resources, your relationships.

Both and.

Going into FIELDS (where the harvest happens) with a ministry heart and a business brain. Carrying an excellent spirit. Full of love. Ready to serve. Less of self. Walking in wisdom and truth.
