MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:

“If you will WAIT…” (a fave scripture)

Wait!?!

Nobody likes to wait. We want what we want when we want it. Waiting means relinquishing control. Letting go. Trusting.

Realizing you may not love the answer or outcome.

Ahhhh…there it is.

If we don’t wait but instead plow through and MAKE happen what WE want to happen…then we don’t have to deal with an outcome we may not like.

Let’s sit with that one a minute.

Control: to dominate, restrain, hold in, curb. To eliminate or prevent the flourishing or spreading of.

Ummm.

So. When we try to control due to fear of outcome … we are actually preventing and restraining and putting a chokehold around what GOD MAY DO.

Control is such a a trap and a lie. It will always limit what God wants to do in our lives.
