Is it 2024 yet!?!

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Morning Sunshines! Well, it’s January 15th and I’ve officially decided that I think the beginning of the year should start on March 1st…or maybe even April 1st.

I clearly don’t ascribe to hustle culture or busting a move starting January 1…but, many do. And I don’t think it makes any sense. I mean…it’s freezing. Winter just feels like the time to tuck in, read more books, play more games (it’s backgammon for us right now), stay close to the fire. When all the while, the world is screaming at us to set new goals, get to that gym, start the thing, crank it up. It seems to go against all that’s right and orderly and holy. But hey, maybe it’s just me.

Anyway. I just wanted to pop in to say hello. I haven’t disappeared. I have more thoughts to write and approximately 3672 saved thoughts to upload.
