Know first.
MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Still hanging out with Esther.
In Esther 2:10 it says that “Esther had not revealed her people or her family for Mordecai (Holy-Spirit representation) had charged her not to reveal it.”
Well. Better stay silent.
Then, we see in 4:14: “For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish.”
Well. Better speak up.
This is why (well, one reason), we must know the holy spirit’s voice and God’s timing.
What was a directive yesterday may change today.
Going out rogue on our own and saying things just because we can is never a wise or good idea.
And remember: there was a whole lot of process and preparation that happened between those two statements.
Kind of makes me think of that Kenny Rogers song: “you gotta know when to hold ‘em, know when to fold ‘em, know when to walk away, know when to run:)”
Know first. Then speak.
