Morning Thoughts

Still thinking about what I wrote yesterday.

So.

IF the enemy is after our PURPOSE…let’s talk about that.

I’ve said this a ton in the past and I still have to revisit it FOR MYSELF often.

We ALL have the same purpose.

Intimacy with/relationship with/walking with God.

He MADE us for relationship.

So. If that is our purpose (and it IS), then the battle is to take us out of that posture…relationship with HIM. Walking + talking + hearing HIM.

The enemy will do everything he can to NOT have us go there.

He knows that when we DO…when we really get it and wake up to it and lean in (you know, to use some of the new “modern terms” 🤪), that his hold on us will begin to dissipate. Why? Because there is simply NO WAY you and I can spend time with the Lord and not change. It is the ONLY place we begin to see the REAL TRUTH of who we are.

What will the enemy use to distract us?

Anything and everything.

Even good things.

Let’s take note of what may be pulling us away.
