MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Morning sunshine’s. Here’s my thought for today. You and I will NEVER find joy by focusing on self. Never. It’s actually a joy stealer. Oh, the world wants to underscore, reinforce, point you to self all day, every day. Find yourself. What do YOU want? What will make YOU happy? What are YOU going to do? How are YOU going to make it all happen? Self. Self. Self. It’s a highway that leads to nowhere.

I love this passage in The Message from Colossians 2:

“We have it all so wrong. We search for significance. We seek to know more of who we are. We take personality tests, listen to others, gobble up discovery and self-help books...when all along it’s been about seeking to know Him and falling in love. All the mysteries and treasures are hidden there.”

Seek HIM over self and watch things shift.
