MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: this picture was taken FIVE years ago today. In a field. At the base of Mount Kilimanjaro. In Loitotktok, Kenya. The trip was incredible, and yet, it went wonky at the end. As the three of us sat there with our last words, last hugs, last kisses, last tears…we realized it may be a long time before we’d see each other again. I was giving “motherly” instruction and advice and encouragement. They were being strong and amazing. Little did we know. But God did. Four months later, they were here and never left. It was a complete impossibility that God made possible. There was NO WAY for any human to make this happen. NO. WAY. We’re all still in awe when we look back and reflect on the miracles and the doors that God flung W I D E open. It marked our lives. You see, that scripture that “nothing is impossible with God” isn’t just a good one to post on the fridge…it’s the real deal. My prayer this morning is that this encourages someone who’s in a no-end situation that seems hopeless or impossible. IF he’s told you something opposite of what you’re seeing in the natural…hold fast. Don’t waiver. Stand. Believe. Hope. Trust. He’s not a man that he should lie.

Amen! So good. I needed to hear this today. I’d love to hear the full testimony of their adoption. I missed that one! The testimony itself, I mean.
