Opportunities vs. Assignments.

I opened my Facebook memories to this one liner I wrote years ago.

I needed the reminder and thought that maybe you would, too.

As empty-nesting looms (again:) in the not so distant future, I am once again asking and wondering and looking.

Opportunities are everywhere.

But assignments. Those are more targeted. Specific. Tailor-made.

I’ll ask for and wait on the latter.

It’s the difference between looking and seeing. Making my own way or waiting on THE way.

Yup. Opportunities are a dime a dozen (and you actually CAN let them pass you by:). Assignments, not so much.
