Morning sunshine! Before you read this morning’s thought…I wanted to simply say hi. I was testing out a new platform yesterday called Substack because I have a lot of people who are asking to receive daily emails and who are jumping off social media. Substack and Mailchimp (where you subscribed) must have converged:)

Let me know if you even WANT and / or LIKE the idea of getting these in your emails daily. I know it’s a busy and noisy place and I sure don’t want to overload you:)

Love to you!

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: We finished watching 1883 last night. All I can say is...WATCH. IT.

The timing was perfect for so much that’s been on my mind lately. Watching the PIONEERS make the long, hard, often deadly trek across this undeveloped nation stirred something up in me. Gratitude. Awe. Curiosity. Courage.

PIONEER: 1. a person among the first to enter a region thus OPENING IT UP for others to come and occupy. 2. A foot soldier detailed to make roads in advance of the main body.

Shoot. Who went BEFORE US? Who made a way where there seemed to be no way. Who died and sacrificed and went scared into unknown lands? Why do we have access to what we have access to? Who has gone before us and pioneered in the natural? In our family lines? Who has gone before us in the spirit and opened up things we now get to enter into? Who are we going to be pioneering for? What are we called to pioneer?

Lots of thoughts. Lots of questions. More to say but I’ll stop here...for now:)

Oh. And happy March 1st!

I like getting the emails in the morning! I don’t get to go to social media all the time but I’ve got to always check my emails!

Enjoy the morning thoughts very much! I also felt the same way about 1883. Also the fact that life was so different and so much of their time was spent just trying to live. No time to sit and take a selfie or scroll the internet. Every thing was about living and survival.

Thanks
