Purge.
MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️☕️☕️: (it’s a three coffee morning:)
Morning Sunshines! Here we go…the day after a long, holiday weekend…the beginning of a new month…a new season upon us. You can feel it in the air. Change. Stuff’s coming.
I grabbed this book off my shelf and decided to dig in. @juliacameronlive talks about her “morning pages” again…and the difference they made for her. I’m going to re-engage this practice. I write every morning…but do I brain dump first? Get it all out? Just write to write and let the words fall where they may? Nope.
Time to begin…again.
As I began writing, I realized that it’s kind of like my closet. When there’s clothes on the floor or it’s junky and unorganized…I can’t find anything. My mind can actually go to LACK “ugh I have NOTHING to wear”…when in fact, the pathway to more lies on my floor.
Cleaning it up. Clearing it out. Getting rid of what’s junking it up and not needed. Creating S P A C E.
I did this recently. I mean…I’ve purged so much you’d think there wouldn’t be anything left to purge. But I did it. Again. I went in that closet and took MORE stuff out. And you know what?!? It’s stayed clean and organized and I know what’s in there and it’s easily accessible and when I walk into that closet with L E S S I feel way more freedom and peace and clarity than I ever did when it was full.
Anyway.
I think that closet can be our minds. We gotta purge. Clean it out. Clear it out. REMOVE PAST SEASON STUFF so we can actually SEE what’s left for now and what’s needed.
That’s enough for this morning. Love you all.
