Radical.
MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: had a great kitchen table convo this morning about living life radically different than others and how what would be perceived as radical now used to be normal life. I shared my favorite (well, one of them) scripture that y’all know is my mantra:
“Aspire to live a quiet and peaceful life, mind your own business and work with your hands.” (1 Th 4:11)
Then, when I opened Facebook…the first two friends’ posts talked about being radical.
So…let’s look up that word.
RADICAL: extreme, fundamental, favoring drastic reforms, change from accepted forms, going to the root or origin.
Here’s what @mrsbeatriceb said about it on her post this morning:
“Serving your husband dinner, your spouse being your best friend, homeschooling your kids, drinking raw milk, having a family, knowing where your food comes from, being grateful in every season, loving your family. That’s considered radical now days.”
I don’t know about y’all…but RADICAL is where it’s at for us.
We’re getting more and more radical every day. And…we like it.
Be radical. Get back to the roots.
That’s all. Happy Sunday!
