MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️

I woke up this morning and picked up my phone. As I did, a notification came in from the New York Times. Now, I don’t read the NYT, so this is not about whether they’re a good publication or not…I have no clue. But, what I DO know is that IF I opened that notification and got my news first thing this morning from them…then, I would have gone to the wrong source.

I realized that each person is going to some source for information on the daily…and…depending on your bent, your feed is actually feeding you more information that supports and undergirds what you already think. Fascinating. No wonder our nation is so divided. The Prince of the Air is having a hay day.

I’m glad I know my source. The one I can turn to for Truth … always. The One I can turn to for comfort…always. The One I can turn to for history lessons and future plans….always.

Don’t substitute man-made information for God-given intel. It’s a poor swap.
