Sunday Short Thought

3 years ago today, we sat in a field in the middle of nowhere in Loitoktok, Kenya saying our goodbyes. This trip had gone wonky and we had no clue when we’d see each other again. We were dealing with the reality that it could possibly be years. Little did we know that less than 6 months later they’d be HERE and that today, 3 years later, they’d be going to jobs, getting scholarships, playing soccer, and flourishing in every way. So. Here’s my SUNDAY SHORT THOUGHT:

Never, EVER underestimate the POWER of our God. When He says it, HE does it. When He shows you…it’s as good as done. When He makes the plans, NO MAN can change them.
