Surrender.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: I was asked by a friend this week to get a prophetic word for her husband. That was fun…I haven’t done that in a while. Anyway…I wanted to share a scene that I saw because it was a powerful picture of how God’s ways are NOT the world’s ways.

I saw him wrestling…and then, after a long period of time, he went down on one knee as if in a SURRENDER posture.

The KEY was in the surrender…in “losing” the battle. In finally saying, okay, okay, I’m done.

The world says to battle it out. To FIGHT for what you want. To never give up.

God says that when we LOSE our lives and surrender all, we GAIN our lives.

Surrender: to yield to the power of another; to give up oneself up in favor of another.

In the kingdom, losing is winning and going low is the way. Taking a knee and saying I can no longer wrestle with this in my own strength…I am yielding to YOU and your power in my life to see this through..that is the KEY.

Some of you have been in a battle and you are weary. Today, instead of drumming up more strength to continue, simply surrender and then see what God can do on your behalf.
