Thanksgiving + Praise.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:

“We enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise. Be thankful to HIM and bless His name.” - Psalm 100:4

Most of us will be giving thanks tomorrow. We will reflect on all we are grateful for…all we’ve been given…all the blessings bestowed upon us.

Will most of us be thankful to HIM, first and foremost…THE giver of all things!?

The giver of life. The giver of family. The giver of intelligence. The giver of the ability to work. The giver of creativity. The giver of compassion. The giver of love.

I often wonder…for those who don’t believe in the giver…where do they think all of this comes from? Self? The universe?

It comes from him and him alone.

Tomorrow, as we break bread, hug necks, cook and eat too much food, anddd…as we give thanks … let’s be sure and put him and the tippy top of the list and PRAISE HIM from whom ALL blessings flow.

Happy, happy thanksgiving. Let’s enter HIS gates.

P.S. I also want you to know how thankful I am for YOU. For your encouragement, comments, conversations, and just all around trust to even open an email from me on the daily. I don’t take it for granted.

P.S.S. afterthought: if we enter HIS Gates with thanksgiving and praise…whose gates do you think we enter with grumbling and complaining?
