The Prince.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: As I lay here…back in bed with my coffee…listening to the thunderstorm rolling through…it’s as peaceful as can be. I know I write about PEACE a lot. Maybe because it seemed to evade me for so long.

I’ve learned that the “peace that surpasses all understanding” can ONLY come when we have allowed the PRINCE OF PEACE to rule and reside in our hearts. That’s it. Plain and simple.

I just wrote this Sunday:

If peace is a fruit of the SPIRIT (and it is), then there ain’t no trying to conjure it up in the flesh. That’ll never work. It’s spirit-work.

It’s a fruit of FOCUS. Focus on Him, the PRINCE OF PEACE and peace will come. Focus on self and it will never appear.
