True Life

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Morning Sunshines! This scripture caught my eye this morning:

Bread alone will not satisfy, but TRUE LIFE is found in every word that constantly goes forth from God’s mouth. -Matt 4:4

This suggests that God is always talking... if words are constantly going forth from His mouth. And that TRUE LIFE is found in those words (and I’d add in seeking the One who is speaking the words).

TRUE: reliable; unfailing; sure.

I posed a question this week:

MUSING: some people ascribe to the belief system that if you don’t KNOW, you don’t move. While others ascribe to the belief system that it’s in the MOVING that you begin to KNOW.

I’m curious…which are YOU!?!

So many great comments and responses were posted. I LOVED the discussion. The bottom line was that if God says move without knowing, we move. If he says be still until you know…we’re still until we know.

The key is in HEARING. Hearing God’s voice. The One who’s constantly available and constantly speaks words of true life from His mouth. The next key is in KNOWING. Getting to know Him so we WILL know and be able to recognize His voice. If we think we don’t hear Him…It’s not that he doesn’t talk to us…it’s that we don’t yet know how to recognize it.

In order for us to find true life…we have to seek the true life giver and listen to His words. This is how we stay satisfied.
