MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Voices are distinct.
We were recently at a restaurant, just talking away at our table, when a couple in front of us turned around and said “we’d know that voice anywhere…it has to be Elizabeth Braswell.”
We have customers, that when the phone rings and I hear their voice, I instantly know who they are before they ever say their name.
We can turn on the radio, hear a song, and know who it is immediately.
Distinct. Recognizable. Often without seeing faces we know voices.
So it is with God. His sheep KNOW his voice. It’s distinct. Unlike any other. Knowing it and hearing it is our birthright. Being a believer and saying you don’t know God’s voice is like being a child and not knowing your parent’s voice.
I guess the key to knowing his voice is to become a sheep. Baaaaaa.
