Wait.

I just finished lettering a few more words of the year … can you imagine getting this one?

WAIT.

Made me think of Habakkuk 2:3.

“For the vision is yet for the APPOINTED TIME. It hastens toward the goal and will not fail. Though it tarries, WAIT for it; for it will certainly come, it will not delay.”

Our world doesn’t want to wait for a darn thing. Heck, we get mad when our Amazon order is delayed. But waiting is often in order. Waiting on God and his appointed time. Not pushing our own way and our own agenda all the time.

I’m pretty sure when we push and manipulate for an outcome to happen faster than it would have in the wait…we forfeit God’s best.
