You get what ya need.

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: God doesn’t always give us what we want but he ALWAYS gives us what we need.

I remember a million years ago crying to God and saying “but I WANTED this and I WANTED that and, and, and......” He told me if I’d STOP hanging on to what I thought I wanted He’d give me what I needed and it would be more than I could hope or imagine and for SURE more than I was trying to hold onto in my two little hands…and boy, was it ever.

BUT.

I had to LET GO of what I was holding on to so tightly so I could GET what He had planned for me all along.

And guess what? It’s ALWAYS an upgrade.
