MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️:Here’s a good one I NEEDED to re-read this morning…

“TRUST in the Lord with ALL of your heart and do NOT lean on your OWN understanding.” - Proverbs 3:5-6

Here it is in the Passion Translation:

“Trust in the Lord COMPLETELY, and do not rely on your own opinions. With ALL your heart rely on Him to guide you, and He will lead you in every decision you make.”

Lord have mercy, that’s good.

I’ve been arguing with God about a certain something and giving him MY opinion for quite a while…

Trust: confident expectation. Leaning on the strength and ability of another.

Can’t we just trust in the Lord in some areas but not in all?

Nope. All means all.

Can’t we just decide on our own where we want to go or what we want to do and then ask him to come along for the ride?

I mean. We can. But it’s not the best order.

Rely on Him. Let Him lead. It’s a much better way.
