I want to expand on my thought from yesterday. It started out with “God uses ALL things for good” … and, He does. But. Here’s the catch that I had an aha over recently. I used to read that and believe or think that it meant He’d use it for MY good. So often, He does. But y’all…that thought is a reflection of a myopic, self-focused world that doesn’t really get the BIG picture.

I was thinking the other day that, if Ken hadn’t died, I probably wouldn’t have the relationship with God that I have…because I wouldn’t have been so desperate for it. I can be thankful for that!
It’s true! Some of our HARDEST times, ultimately, pushed us closer to the Lord.
