MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: I’ve had several friends re-mind me lately of some of the “gifts” I’ve been given that I am possibly not utilizing to the fullest. Yesterday, in a convo I said: “Listen…they aren’t dead, just dormant.” You know I had to them go look up and study the word dormant.
I’ve been working on some grout in my shower. There were a couple of places, where the grout repair was deeper, that were taking longer to cure. I panicked a couple of times and regrouted them, thinking I did something wrong. It turns out they just needed more time and I just needed more patience.
It got me thinking about wounds and healing. Surface scratches heal quickly but those deep wounds take longer. Sure, you can put salve and bandages on them, but what they really need is time and patience. It takes as long as it takes. And you can’t rush it.
Not dead. Just dormant.
So good Dianna! What a perfect example!!
