When things come in (and they will) to try and steal our peace, we have a choice to focus on them or not. I’ve realized that if I shift my gaze from the Prince of Peace to the peace stealers, my peace goes. Duh.
Only when I get my focus back on Jesus…does peace return. It doesn’t mean the peace-stealers are gone…it simply means I turned my back on them and got my gaze back on the place it should have been all along.
