MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: A scripture ran through my mind all night. It may be just for me...but I’ll share it with you. Habakkuk 2:1: “I will stand my watch and set myself on the rampart, and WATCH (to see) what he will say (to hear) to me.” This scripture holds keys for how to hear from the Lord. First..he DECLARED that he will stand and watch UNTIL he hears. This is our posture. This is where staying covered comes into play. I don’t dare make a move or add anything to my plate without complete clarity + confirmation. That doesn’t make me a robot...that makes me wise. I did a lot of going my OWN way and then asking the Lord to bless it. That’s not the correct order.
The other night, before going to sleep, I asked God to use a dream to show me what he wants me to know. As I drifted off, my mind was thinking about the number 7, and how this is the seventh year since Ken’s death. The number of completion. Then, the numbers 33 and 11 popped into my head and I said, out loud, “Jeremiah 33:11”. It woke me up! I looked it up right then and there…it’s beautiful. God is so faithful!!!
I’m glad to have someone in my life to share that with. Everyone else would think I’m crazy! 😂
