The WE Hours.

Woke up at 3:33 this morning and remembered a post I wrote a million years ago about the WE hours. Thought I’d share it again. Good Morning:)

MORNING THOUGHTS ☕️: Wide awake. Can't sleep. Toss and turn. I ask myself..."why am I wide awake in the WEE HOURS of the morning!?!?!" And then it hits me. Get up and out of bed.

It's an INVITATION to the WE HOURS.

The quiet time, the before dawn breaks time, the no one else is up so perk some coffee time. When WE can be together. Just you and me.

Have you had times when you can't sleep? Why not...instead of laying there...get up, grab your journal, your bible, your fave pen and then...WAIT. Let the silence wash over you and your spirit settle and WAIT to hear what He has to say to you in THIS moment. I cannot even begin to share with you how many times this WE HOUR invitation has resulted in way more refreshing than the sleeping would have given me. I can also tell you, there are times I have gotten the WE HOUR invitation and I have NOT gotten up...'cause it's too cold...'cause I need to sleep...'cause it's probably just in my mind that this is an invitation and not real.

Rationalization can cause us to forgo some precious times with the Lord.
